GOODS ARE ACCEPTED AND CARRIED UNDER THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1) Nature, Content, Conduction & Value of the consignments are to be declared by the consignor at the time of booking because the transport company has no knowledge of the same.

2) In case of false declaration of any commodity, the Owner/Consignor/Consignee of the goods shall be sole responsible for all future consequences

3) The Transport Company does not take any responsibility for leakage, breakage, Shortage, Spoilage by Sun, Rain, Weather, any acts of God or Nature like Flood, Fire etc. and act of public enemies like Riot and Civil Commotion

4) The Transport Company shall not be responsible if the goods are detained, seized, or confiscated by any Government authorities like Customs, Sale tax, Octroi etc

5) Fruits and Perishable Goods are carried at the absolute risk of the sender as they are apt to be spoiled in transit

6) The Transport Company does not hold any responsibility for any kind of loss to goods which are not insured.

7) If the owner of the goods desires to insure the goods against leakage, breakage, damage, Shortage etc. The Transport Company can make such insurance with the additional charges which will be mention on the GP

8) If, In case any loaded truck catches fire the transport company shall not be responsible for that.

9) The minimum Chargeable weight for any single consignment will be 40 Kg.

10) If any difference is found in actual weight as compared with the GR. the transport company will recover full charges at the destination against actual weight found  plus 25% extra

11) The Transport Company will send the goods at the earliest possible opportunity in one lot or n part according to their convenience.

12) The goods will be delivered at the destination from the transporter’s godown only after the realisation of freight charges along with Octro Service tax etc.

13) In case of Door Delivery the consignee shall have to make payment of freight charge along with other charges if any, at transport company prior to the delivery of goods.

14) The delivery of goods will have to taken by the consignee within 5 days after its arrival at the destination failing which the sum of Rs.15/ per Qt. per day or Rs. 9/- per package per day demurrage will be charged.

15) If there be any claim on account of the goods received the same shall have to be made within 15 days failing which the same shall be treated as Null and Void.

16) If the goods of GR do not arrive at the destination within 15 days the tender should serve the transport company transport company will not be responsible for any claim after that on account

17) When once the delivery has given against the receipt no claim will be entertained after that.

18) The transport company takes absolutely no responsibility for delay or losses in transit due to Accident, Strike or any other cause beyond its control and due to break down of vehicle in route and for the consequences there of.

19) If Octroi, sales tax or custom officials assess the goods wrongly the transport company will not be responsible for that and claims if any from the octroi, sales tax or custom officials on such item shall be made by the consignor /consignee of their own.

20) If the consignee does not take delivery of goods within 15 days the transport company reserves the right to selling the goods in verbal information to the party and all the arrears/dues will be recovered from the sale proceedings of the goods.

21) The Transport Company reserves the right to deliver the goods without GR to the party if his name is mentioned in the consignee column or direction or instruction by consigner.

22) If there is any arrear/ dues in account of party, the transport company has right to stop the delivery of goods till the realisation/clear of arrears/dues

23) All disputes will be settled at Kolkata courts only. Received goods specified overleaf in proper condition.
